Talpa zendt Paparazzi uit
De BBC-serie Paparazzi over de belevenissen van de fotografen van het agentschap Big Pictures en hun excentrieke directeur Darryn Lyons wordt vanaf 10 juni uitgezonden door Talpa.
Love it or loathe it, the cult of celebrity is everywhere and nothing captures the zeitgeist more than a well-angled paparazzi shot.
Australian Darryn Lyons is a regular on the London party scene, and the face behind one of the world’s largest paparazzi agencies, Big Pictures. With offices in London and Sydney, it’s a lucrative business for Darryn, and his empire is going from strength to strength. In short, the A-list world is his playground.
Paparazzi covers everything from glamorous red carpet events to crafty photographers sneaking around private filmsets. They loiter for hours outside celebrity homes, and they stop at nothing in their quest for an 'exclusive'.
This series explores our fascination with famous faces and takes a look at the issues surrounding privacy and the market for paparazzi shots. It's entertaining and engaging stuff, providing an insight into life on both sides of the lens.
Viewers will get to know the individual photographers, and featured celebs include David and Victoria Beckham, Madonna, Rachel Stevens and Geri Halliwell.
